Hi guys! Have been lazy lately.. with the holidays seasons and all.. 🙂 Anyway here’s a new gunpla that I’ve built and lost some enthusiasm somewhere in the middle of building this model, I don’t know why though.. its just a simple straight build with panel lining that’s crappy.. haha! XD

I got him because I remember my first ever gunpla when I was a wee kid was a gundam X, but I can’t seem to remember what specific MS model he was, but I definitely remember his looks! So upon research.. it was just plain ‘gundam x’! http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/GX-9900_Gundam_X

Too bad I lost my original first ever gunpla gundam x in our old house.. 😦

I just noticed now that the red triangular foil sticker on his left knee is disarrayed in the photos, sorry for that! XD

He was pretty straight forward to build, didn’t have any issues in the building process, but a number of parts are of incorrect color.. (insufficient energy to do some painting for now :D)

I’m using a grey backdrop for my photos right now.. does it look better than the black backdrop? or it depends on the subject? 🙂

I used a third party clear matte spray can (Bosny brand) for this guy, it turned out okay buy the spray particles are larger compared to the usual TopCoat and it can be noticed upon closer look, otherwise it came out to have a chalkier finish than spraying topcoat at a much cheaper price.

The main thing that I like about this guys is his Divider or Beam Harmonica (the thing that looks like a shield). “The Harmonica cannon is a series of six three shot beam cannons, when firing, the shield expands to expose the cannons.” It literally divides things ho ho! XD

Lets go straight to action poses!:

The Divider can actually be attached to his back for hover mode.

The weapon on his left hand is a Beam Machine Gun. “Two barrels give this weapon a high firing rate. Other than that, the Beam Machine Gun can fire charged shots.”

Another weapon that he has is this Hyper Bazooka. “A weapon capable of firing explosive rockets or a wide variety of other ammunition’s.”

And of course, there should always be a beam saber or two! 😀 Nice green one too! But Its rather short in my opinion. 

And.. who doesn’t want a dual wielder?! =3

I just love how the light affects the beam saber in photos.. =3

Well for articulation, he is pretty articulate for an HG. I have only one photo to show though.. :

What I like about this kit:

1. I like the Divider of course, that’s why I bought it aside from the notion that my first gunpla was a gundam x.

2. Easy straightforward build. 🙂

3. I like the green beam sabers even though its rather short in my opinion. XD

What I don’t like about this kit:

1. The weapons were far too simple? Or maybe because he already has his Divider yes?

2. The beam sabers are short..

3. Some parts were of incorrect color (well its expected anyways, but recent HG kits have less and less incorrect color parts, I have build some that has no incorrect color parts at all)

Even though I lost enthusiasm in the middle of building him, I still like this MS, he actually looks cool standing with the divider on my display cabinet. =3
