Here are the questions that I’ll be answering:

What got you into blogging?

Back when I was a wee kid in the 90’s, I was already interested in Gunpla kits and I surprisingly convinced my mom to buy me one of the kits in an old mall (Divisoria Mall) back in my local hometown in the Philippines. Too bad the mall burned down last 2013. My first kit was a 1/100 HG Gundam X Divider and I was immediately hooked in the building process of the kit. The final product IMO is just kind of like the bonus of the building process, the building itself is the most interesting part since the parts fit together perfectly and the details were extraordinary for my age compared to other toys. That was my first and last kit when I was a kid since we couldn’t afford to buy more kits (they were really expensive back in those days).

As I graduated from college and became a young adult working. I immediately bought a kit after I received my 1st salary and I was instantly hooked again. I decided to continue this hobby and invest in tools and equipment. Then I realized I already knew how to blog since back in high-school I used to write an online journal (which ‘blogging’ was the popular term used), so I decided to share to the world and to my friends my hobby through blogging and started this site back in the year 2012.

My hobby life has been slow since life has caught up to me. And it is sad to see that most of my blog friends have already stopped blogging, just a few of us here and there left. But I will still continue this blog as there is passion left in me. I just wish they made kits without runners that we can just build and customize straight on. Yes? Bandai? XD

What’s your favorite cartoon/anime series?

Oh thinking about this question brings back memories! Rurouni Kenshin (Popular in my country as Samurai X) was my favorite anime back when I was a kid. Hearing the opening theme song makes me tingle and excited. I used to always wait for the series to show up in AXN (a tv channel in my country) on my small TV after coming home from school. This was one of the most memorable animes for me.

Some more of my favorite animes (memorable ones in my mind) I will list since it is hard to choose:

  1. Full Metal Alchemist (All variations)
  2. Ayashino Ceres (This was in tandem with Samurai X in AXN)
  3. Inuyasha
  4. Shingeki No Kyojin
  5. Sword Art Online (I & II)
  6. Hunter X Hunter (old and new)
  7. Great Teacher Onizuka
  8. Fate Series
  9. Naruto
  10. Bleach

I’m not really an Anime fan perse, just what catches my attention. I haven’t watched most popular series like one piece and death note so some people might be wondering why it’s not on my list, I haven’t probably watched it before. Ironically, all of the Gundam anime series didn’t really have an impact to me.

Some favorite cartoons when I was a kid:

  1. Captain Planet
  2. Power-puff Girls (Yes)
  3. Doug
  4. Tom and Jerry
  5. Looney Tunes
  6. Darkwing Duck
  7. Gargoyles
  8. Dexter’s Lab
  9. Johnny Bravo
  10. Swat Kats
  11. 2 Stupid Dogs
  12. Cow and Chicken
  13. Arthur
  14. Courage the Cowardly Dog
  15. Edd, Ed N Eddy

Again these are the memorable ones when I was a kid.

What’s your favorite live-action TV series?

When I was in high-school, it was Grey’s Anatomy and Gossip Girl.

The only live-action Japanese series that I watched and my favorite is Great Teacher Onizuka.

My favorite modern TV series would be the following:

  1. Game of Thrones
  2. The Big Bang Theory
  3. Rick and Morty
  4. Breaking Bad
  5. House
  6. House of Cards
  7. Myth Busters

There’s a lot more but those are on the top I guuess.

If you had to keep only three toys/figures/etc. in your collection, which ones would they be?

  1. My Lego System Red Beard Runner pirate ship, this is priceless for me since It was given to me by my grandmother back in the 90’s.
  2. My MG 1/100 Hi-V gundam since it’s the most cool looking in my collection.
  3. My Haruhi Suzumiya figma – She became this site’s mascot for a while.

And that’s it! Thanks again Play Evolution!

I’m nominating Sheng Gonzales @ Kixkillradio for this award and here are my questions:

1. What got you into this hobby?

2. How has your hobby influenced your life? (time, money, etc)

3. If you were to be given a super power, what would it be? and why?

4. If you had to keep only three toys/figures/etc. in your collection, which ones would they be?

I had fun doing this, I hope you will too! As there are only a few bloggers left in my network.
