Hello guys!~ So first of all, all images are credited to Mikatan’s blog!
This is about the Cheerful Japan project! Miku Hatsune will be their last product for this project. Good Smile Company (GSC) has been working really hard to produce products to sell and have part of the sales to be donated to the areas of Japan where the tsunami/earthquake last March 11, 2011 hit and did a lot of damage.
The main theme of the products for this project is Cheerful Japan! Wherein different characters are portrayed as cheerers in effort to cheer up and encourage the people of Japan who have been devastated by the calamity.
Here is the link to the main website of this project! http://www.cheerfuljapan.com/
“The damage that has occurred during the March 11 quake in the Touhoku region is astounding, and in order to get over the destruction caused there is a lot that needs to be done, and lots of support that needs to be given. Good Smile Company has formed a support group named ‘Cheerful Japan’ which will strive to support the relief efforts for as long as possible. For at least 1 year we be releasing charity products among other efforts to raise donation money for the cause. To everyone who supports the Cheerful Japan movement – thank you, and know that your money is going where it is needed!” – Translated in Mikatan’s blog. 😀
Well, let’s get on to the product! When I first saw this, I was really excited, the same thing I felt when I saw images of Luka Megurine Tony ver.
Look at that!!! Just by looking at the first image we can tell how amazing this figure is!! =3
This figure is based on the winning illustration of bun150, an entry to the Cheerful Japan project featuring Hatsune Miku illustration contest.
This is the actual illustration, and we can see how accurately the sculptors and designers of the figure produced this amazing product!
She’s so adorable, especially her smile that shows a really cheerful aura and expression! =3 Makes you want to cheer too! 🙂
A lot of translucent material has been incorporated in this figure and we will see other parts that are translucent or transparent later on.
Although a lot of skin is shown in this figure, she still looks adorable and has a feeling of lightness! Not like Luke Megurine which obviously suggests a sexy pose! This one really projects her cheerfulness well.
I like the tone of her skin, how balanced the shading is.
The skirt looks great! It shows the outline of her body perfectly same as described by Mikatan! 😀
Let’s take a look at the back!
Again, the detail is overwhelming for me, especially how the hair is sculpted! Damn!!!! My wallet’s soul is about to be captured! XD
A big speaker is used as her base to remind people that she is of musical origin? 😀
A logo of cheerful japan can be seen at the back! Still at any angle, her skin tone and texture looks amazing! =3
Talk about a really cheerful smile! It makes you feel light, serene and ready to help random people in need on the street! haha! XD I can imagine what the sculptors have gone through in producing this product! Excellent workmanship! =3
The pompons look like shredded french fries though.. But heck! I can’t think of a better way of portraying anime pompons perfectly for a 3d figure, yes? So I guess the pompons are already great! 😀 The hair!!!!!! Look at how dynamic the hair is sculpted! Owners should be careful in handling her as the hair might break! XD I would cry if it broke! T_T
We can see a heart shape design on her shoes, it well painted. The soles are made of translucent material too! 😀 Its adds to the “light” and cheerful aura of the figure. 🙂
This is the pixiv magazine vol. 8 in Japan, wish we have these in my country! A nendoroid petite version of this figure is included in the magazine!!! I want!!! But how to get it?! T_T
1/8 figure with nendoroid petite!!! Their so adorable!!!! XD
The question is how much will she cost???
Well she costs 10000 Japanese Yen! For each sale made, 2000 JYen will be donated the relief effort for Japan.
That does not include the shipping fee and other fees like tax.. T_T I guess for my country it would cost around.. 9000php! XD Wish I have the guts to order this since this is a limited figure!! I doubt suppliers in my country will have this product, since one customer can only be entitled up to a maximum of 5 orders. Provided that limitation and knowing the suppliers in my country, and if ever it becomes available in my country, I’ll be pretty sure that it’ll cost more than 9000php!! T_T
Details on how to order can be found here! http://gscmikatan.wordpress.com/2012/03/08/miku-hatsune-cheerful-ver/
