Hi guys! This going to be my first 1/7 PVC anime figure review! 1/7 Fate Testarossa Plain Clothes Ver. by Alter! I got her during the Philippine Toy Convention 2013 at the Hobby Japan magazine booth! They had a special offer in which they are selling “lucky bags” for only a thousand (Php1000) pesos! At first I thought it maybe a scam or it might not be worth it, but then again, those were real Japanese vendors from Hobby Japan, they came all the way to Japan to promote the seven deadly sins figures such as Leviathan(envy) and the others.
And so me and my friends tried to interview them a bit with regards to what were the contents of the “lucky bag”, they just said that it contained figures, then as we investigated further, we found out that inside the lucky bag contained a Limited Edition 1/7 Fate Testarossa figure, a Limited Edition Nendoroid that I will make a post later on, a seven deadly sins shirt, a seven deadly sin character mini scroll and a seven deadly sins sticker! And so we thought it’s already a super great deal! A PVC statue and a nendoroid for only 1000Php?! That’s beyond crazy and comprehension!
And so me and my friends got the deal, at first I planned to sell them rather than opening them, but upon posting the items for more than a week, nobody took notice of my posting and I also noticed that even one post in ebay that is already pretty old never got sold. There’s no demand sadly, but I’m still happy that I got a figure and a Nendoroid for only 1000Php! So why not open it and keep it in my collection! And so here we are!
I present to you 1/7 Fate Testarossa Plain Clothes Ver. from the 1st movie!:
Though I haven’t watched this anime before, maybe sometime in the future!
She’s really quite simple with a sadlike or meh facial expression. It’s hard to make out what kind of emotion she”s trying to express..
It’s annoying to see a tiny black mark on her left pig tail XD
Let’s get into the details:
I have no idea what the gold triangle she’s holding is, anyone can tell me?
The ribbon on her blouse is nicely sculpted, but like it could break if you bend it.
The frills on her skirt are nice, haven’t seen any paint bleeds.
One thing I’ve always liked about PVC figures that I have seen throughout other blogs are the nails! You can see the pinkish nails on her fingers.
No paint bleeds on her wristband also:
I like the sculpt of her hair, it’s nice and dynamic looking:
No paint bleed on her boots, I like that they made her boots glossy.
Clean thighs, no marks on her knees
Of course, no figure review would be complete without some pantsu shots!
Its amazing the detail of how they sculpt anime figures, from 2d anime to a 3d figure, just amazing!
Nice and glossy!
The base is simple and reflective, better than nothing.
Some close–up shots:
Overall, she’s a simple figure with no extra accessories or extra gimmicks but a nice figure to have because of the sculpt quality and a clean paint job. Had fun in taking photographs of her and its the 1st time I tried using some gimmicks on the background haha! I’m happy I got her for such a low price along with a Nendoroid. That’s it for today! Stay tuned for the Nendoroid post! 😀

Cheezus, she’s darn pretty, seems you decided to free her from her box prison 😛 The triangle she’s holding is actually her weapon, but in a sort of storage mode that’s easy to carry around and very much less obvious to the public (imagine carrying a gun in the mall). Not sure if it’s 100% correct so forgive me if some parts of the info is wrong lol 😛
Yeah, and I’m glad I did, now I have a nice anime figure in my collection! 😀 Oh I see.. might have to watch the anime to know more! 🙂
You should, it’s a great anime 😀
Sweet figure. （＿´ω｀） they should really do a re-make of the series, update the animation and such.
Oh, it’s a very old anime already? haven’t had the change to watch XD
Kind of but I enjoyed it despite it being a magical girl anime which I hardly pick up when choosing animes to watch. You can actually follow their growth – literally! They start of as kids and you finish the series during their adulthood.
wow interesting! 😀 Have to queue it to my downloads.
I haven’t watched the anime too but I have seen number of figures related to the show.. She’s a nice catch for that cheap price. It is from Alter, which is also popular manufacturer for great quality scale figures.
That Christmas lights on your background is also a nice touch to your photo.
Keep it up! xD
Thanks!! It’s hard to do the photos using a standard 18-55mm lens, I’m struggling on the aperture 😀
I think your photos are quite good; I for one am still using some boring gray piece of paper all the time.
Thanks so much! 🙂 Yeah me too have been bored with my white bgs haha! XD
1000 php mystery bag and got a nendo and this, wow what a steal 😀
yeah so “lucky” that we bought the bags. 😀
The black stand looks classy, but as usual, I always dislike text on stands and as usual, they are pretty distracting here D: The whole figure, especially her face, looks a bit too glossy but still looks great overall nonetheless. And as usual, I have no idea why pantsu of figures always had to be white (maybe I should make a post about this soon)
Hmm.. that would be an interesting topic! Thanks for visiting my blog! 😀
That black spot on the pigtail is distracting!!
