Hi guys! It’s been a while, I’ve been busy with a small business that I have put up. Anyway, here I present HG 1/144 Zaku III! Nothing fancy, it’s an old kit I’ve picked up a long time ago, it was produced year 1999 same as my MG Rick Dom. Its just a straight build and some simple panel lining, nothing more.

1/7 Fate Testarossa Plain Clothes Ver. (An Oath and a Little Wish)
Hi guys! This going to be my first 1/7 PVC anime figure review! 1/7 Fate Testarossa Plain Clothes Ver. by Alter! I got her during the Philippine Toy Convention 2013 at the Hobby Japan magazine booth! They had a special offer in which they are selling “lucky bags” for only a thousand (Php1000) pesos! At first I thought it maybe a scam or it might not be worth it, but then again, those were real Japanese vendors from Hobby Japan, they came all the way to Japan to promote the seven deadly sins figures such as Leviathan(envy) and the others.
And so me and my friends tried to interview them a bit with regards to what were the contents of the “lucky bag”, they just said that it contained figures, then as we investigated further, we found out that inside the lucky bag contained a Limited Edition 1/7 Fate Testarossa figure, a Limited Edition Nendoroid that I will make a post later on, a seven deadly sins shirt, a seven deadly sin character mini scroll and a seven deadly sins sticker! And so we thought it’s already a super great deal! A PVC statue and a nendoroid for only 1000Php?! That’s beyond crazy and comprehension!
And so me and my friends got the deal, at first I planned to sell them rather than opening them, but upon posting the items for more than a week, nobody took notice of my posting and I also noticed that even one post in ebay that is already pretty old never got sold. There’s no demand sadly, but I’m still happy that I got a figure and a Nendoroid for only 1000Php! So why not open it and keep it in my collection! And so here we are!
I present to you 1/7 Fate Testarossa Plain Clothes Ver. from the 1st movie!:
Though I haven’t watched this anime before, maybe sometime in the future!
She’s really quite simple with a sadlike or meh facial expression. It’s hard to make out what kind of emotion she”s trying to express..
It’s annoying to see a tiny black mark on her left pig tail XD
Let’s get into the details:
I have no idea what the gold triangle she’s holding is, anyone can tell me?
The ribbon on her blouse is nicely sculpted, but like it could break if you bend it.
The frills on her skirt are nice, haven’t seen any paint bleeds.
One thing I’ve always liked about PVC figures that I have seen throughout other blogs are the nails! You can see the pinkish nails on her fingers.

No paint bleeds on her wristband also:

I like the sculpt of her hair, it’s nice and dynamic looking:

No paint bleed on her boots, I like that they made her boots glossy.

Clean thighs, no marks on her knees

Of course, no figure review would be complete without some pantsu shots!

Its amazing the detail of how they sculpt anime figures, from 2d anime to a 3d figure, just amazing!

Nice and glossy!

The base is simple and reflective, better than nothing.

Some close–up shots:

Overall, she’s a simple figure with no extra accessories or extra gimmicks but a nice figure to have because of the sculpt quality and a clean paint job. Had fun in taking photographs of her and its the 1st time I tried using some gimmicks on the background haha! I’m happy I got her for such a low price along with a Nendoroid. That’s it for today! Stay tuned for the Nendoroid post! 😀

HG 1/550 AMX-002 Neue Ziel (painted build)
Hi! Had more practice in airbrushing using this kit, it was a friend who gave me this and was bought from Hong Kong, thanks!
He’s not a usual HG 1/144 kit, instead of 1/144, he’s 1/550 in scale because he is humongous in the MS world. On the box it says HG mechanics, upon doing a little research, I found out that this line is mainly MSs that are huge like the Dendrobium! 1/144 MSA-003 Nemo (full painted build)
Hi guys! This is the first kit that I have accomplished using my airbrush. Still a noob work and needs a lot more improvement.
This is also the first time that I used water-slide decals.
Paints used:
Tamiya Acrylic:
Medium Gray
J.N. Gray
Light Blue
Chrome Silver
Gold Leaf
Gun Metal
Copper
Nato Black
Panel Line Accent Color (Black)
Bosny Spray Paint:
Primer Gray
Clear Gloss
Clear Matte
What I did:
First I snap-fit build the kit and decide the color scheme. After I have decided and planned my color scheme, I took everything apart, sanded and cleaned the nib marks then primed it using Bosny gray primer. Once everything has been primed and dried I started airbrushing everything using my planned color theme, I hand-painted some of the details. After that I sprayed Bosny Clear Gloss over everything to prepare for panel lining using enamel wash. After using the Panel Line Accent Color, I cleaned the excess using enamel thinner then applied some water–slide decals that I have acquired in a recent haul. Lastly I sprayed matte coat to seal everything.
Enjoy the photos:
Using my newly bought Tamiya Spray-work kit was easy and convenient, worth an investment rather than using all those spray cans.
MG 1/100 RX-78-2 Ver. Ka (painted build)
RX-78-2, the White Mobile Suit! The ‘Father’ of all Gundams as some might describe. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a RX-78 model and I chose Ver. Ka just because of the decals. Though this is an MG kit, it feels though as I am assembling an HG kit while putting together some parts, though some parts are well detailed as expected in MG kits. MG 1/100 RX-75 Guntank
I present to you MG 1/100 RX-75 Guntank! I won this MG kit last year in a raffle during a Gunpla competition. I did not win the competition but I was lucky enough to be a raffle winner of an MG kit, it’s a better prize than winning the consolation prizes. I procrastinated at building him since I wanted to build more HG kits first before venturing into MGs. Now that he’s been in the box art-less box far too long, I decided it’s time to start building him and apply what I’ve learned from the past year in experimenting with my HG kits, and also with that, I’ll start building more MG kits. Though there are a lot of HG kits that I want to have and build.
I was quite excited when I started opening the plastic bags containing the runners, It has been a long while since I’ve built an original Bandai MG kit. The most recent original MG kit I’ve built was Rick-Dom. Let’s start with the review! First off some photos of the individual parts: Continue reading “MG 1/100 RX-75 Guntank”
